Known as the Rodeo Cowboy Capital of the World, Henryetta has a rich Western heritage and plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure. The city was home to legendary rodeo champion Jim Shoulders, whose legacy lives on through the annual Jim Shoulders Living Legends Rodeo. Visitors can explore local history at the Henryetta Territorial Museum, housed in a one-room schoolhouse built in 1905, or head to historic Nichols Park for fishing, hiking, disc golf and swimming. Additional outdoor recreation can be found at Lake Henryetta, while the city's historic Main Street offers locally owned shops and a glimpse into Henryetta's past.
